Every brick comes with a certificate like this one: your words and photo, its place on the wall, the date it was set and a number that is yours for good.
Its QR code opens the brick itself, on the wall — scan it from the frame on the shelf and there it is.

Slip a card with nothing but a QR code somewhere they'll find it — a locker, a library book, the pocket of a borrowed jacket.
Nothing on the card gives you away, and the brick says only what you wrote on it. When they scan it, the wall tells them someone left something for them — and then shows them.
