What they receive
The recipient gets an email with a private link to the gift — no account or login needed. If you prefilled the brick, they open a finished tribute and accept it; if you left it blank, they add the photo, name and words themselves. Either way, they receive a certificate of the brick.

Your certificate
A certificate to give
Every brick comes with a certificate of ownership, and a gift says who it is for — something the family can print and keep, long after the flowers are gone.
Its QR code opens the brick itself, on the wall — scan it from the frame on the shelf and there it is.
An example — the names are made up. Yours carries your own words, and your own spot.
The QR card
When the words won't fit in a card
Tuck a small card with only a QR code into a sympathy card, or leave it with the flowers. It asks nothing of anyone until they're ready.
Whoever scans it is told someone left something for them, and then shown the brick — the words you couldn't fit on the card, kept somewhere for good.
The QR card is in My Bricks once the brick is placed: a gift tag, a wallet card or a postcard, to print at home.

On the wall, choose “A gift” in the purchase step and enter the recipient’s details. You pay, and they receive an email with a private link to the brick. The brick stays managed from your account, and the certificate carries their name.

Can they personalise it themselves?
That is up to you. Prefill the brick before sending, or leave it blank so they can add the photo, name and words themselves.
