Private Brick
On the wall for good. Open only to your people.
A brick that never opens to the public. Its place on the Wall of Forever shows to everyone, sealed in wax with a key pressed into it — what it says opens only for the people you give that key to.
Seal a private brick
How a private brick works
- Write it. Your words, a photo, a date.
- Seal it. It gets a secret link — its key. The QR code on your certificate carries it too.
- Hand over the key. Send the link, print the certificate or a QR card, set a passcode, or invite people by email.
- Change your mind whenever you like. Switch the link off, make a new one, change the passcode, remove someone.
Three ways in
A secret link
Whoever has it can open the brick. Make a new one and the old one stops working at once.
A passcode
A word you both know. Typed on the brick’s page, it opens it.
An invitation
They get an email with a link of their own. Remove them, and it stops working.
Private, and still on the wall
Your brick takes its place among everyone else's — sealed, for good. Its words and photo are never on a public page or at a public address, and the seal never opens to the public: not on a date, not by vote.
Like every brick, it is checked by our moderation, which is how the wall stays safe for everyone. Beyond that, it is between you and the people you give the key to.
Write your private brick
Only the people you give the key to will read it.
What is a private brick?
A brick on the Wall of Forever that never opens to the public. Its place shows to everyone, sealed; only people with its key can read it.
How do people open it?
With its secret link, a passcode you set, or an email invitation. The QR code on your certificate opens it too.
What if the link ends up in the wrong hands?
Make a new link — the old one stops working at once. You can also switch the link off and rely on the passcode or invitations.
Does anyone at Wall of Forever see it?
Our moderation checks every brick, sealed or not, to keep the wall safe. Beyond that, it is between you and the people you give the key to.
Will it ever open to everyone?
No. A private brick never opens publicly.
How much is it?
€5 for the brick and €3 for the seal, paid once.
