Secret Admirer
For someone who doesn't know yet
You've rehearsed it a hundred times and never said it. Write it on a brick instead, then leave them a small card with nothing on it but a QR code. They scan it, and find out someone noticed.
Write it down
How it works
- Write it down. The thing you keep almost saying. The laugh, the yellow raincoat, the way they hold the door for everyone.
- Set it in the wall. Choose a spot on the endless Wall of Forever. It stays there for good.
- Leave the card. Print the QR card and put it somewhere they'll find it.
- They scan it. A quiet page first — someone left something for you — and then your brick.
A card that gives nothing away
No name, no message — just the code and one line, if you want it: You don't know me yet, Don't laugh. Just scan.
The brick says only what you wrote on it, so you decide whether to sign it. Leave it unsigned and the wall won't tell.
Rather send it? The link keeps the secret too — its preview in a chat says only that something is waiting.
Where to leave it
In a library book
The one they borrowed after you, on purpose.
Inside their locker
Taped to the door, where they will see it first.
In the jacket they lent you
Give it back with something in the pocket.
With a coffee on their desk
Their usual order. No name on the cup.
In their mailbox
No stamp, no return address.
Under the windscreen wiper
Before they leave work, after you do.
And if they ask who it was
That part is up to you. Sign the brick and they'll know the moment they open it. Leave it unsigned, and you can tell them yourself — or keep it, and let them wonder for a while.
Not a secret anymore? Two names and a date make a digital love lock, and a longer letter makes a QR love letter. Want to tell them on the wall, without a card? That's the secret crush brick.
Write it down
The thing you've never said out loud. You can see it take shape on the right.
Will they know it's from me?
Only if you sign it. The card carries just the QR code and an optional line, and the brick shows only what you wrote.
What do they see when they scan it?
A quiet page saying someone left something for them, and a button to see it. Nothing of your message shows until they tap.
Can anyone else read it?
The wall is public, so anyone could come across the brick. Write what you'd be glad for them — and others — to read. You can keep it out of search engines.
Will the QR code stop working?
No. It opens a brick that stays on the wall permanently. You pay once; there is no subscription to lapse.
Can I print it at home?
Yes — as a wallet-sized card, a gift tag or a postcard, at its real size with a line to cut along.
How much is it?
From €5 for a single brick, paid once.
